Gender based violence, National and International legal procedure and punishment

This booklet is divided into four chapters. First chapter deals with gender based violence and its type with the concept difference between genders based violence and violence against women. Second chapter deals with International Provision and Nepalese constitutional provisions to address the violence along with its procedure of filing the complaint. Third chapter deals about national legal provisions related to gender based violence as well as complaint procedure and punishment such as polygamy, rape, human trafficking, domestic violence and child marriage,

Fourth chapter mentions about the sensitivity issue to be followed by different stakeholder while dealing with victims of violence.
