Name of the project: Strengthening Multi Sectoral Response to Survivors of Gender Based Violence Through Psychosocial Support and Improved Data Management

Location of the project:  Kathmandu

Project Duration: Janurary to December 2017

Major activities:

  • Conduct Six month long psycho-social counselling training to 15 participants from 15  safe houses districts (Sunsari, Pachthar, Bajura, Baitadi, Achham, Dadeldhura,  Nawalparsi, kavre, Tanahu,Sulokhubu, Doti, bardiya, Rukum, Rolpa and makwanpur )
  • Conduct 5-days refresher training to 15 Women and Children Offices counselors ( pervious trained counselors )
  • Conduct 6 coordination meetings with partner NGOs on GBV IMS and reporting on lesson learnt and recommendations
  • Organize a workshop to share GBVIMS data with relevant stakeholders for evidence-based advocacy
  • Regular supervision and technical support to counselors
  • Training to Patner NGOs staff on GBVIMS in coordination with NCWJoint Monitoring Visit with Ministry of Health Officials, WCOs, UNFPA, CVICT and reporting including action plan, responsibilities and timeline
