
The Community based psychosocial capacity building (CBPCB) Project “Man Ko Chautari” has been implementing by Centre for Victims of Torture (CVICT) Nepal in Dhading , Gorkha and Kavre districts with the technical & financial support from IsraAid and AmeriCares. The objectives of the project are to build capacity of the FCHVs / Health Workers and Provide psychosocial / medical support who are suffering from psychosocial problems as well as mental illness. Also initiate for building capacity of local bodies and stakeholders for the sustainability of Mental Health through-out evidence based advocacy.
One day Capacity building of local bodies and evidence based advocacy workshop has been conducted (municipality and ward level) at Khoplang, Baddanda, Gaikhur, Mirkot, Aanppipal, Bakrang, Namjungw and Ghairung in Gorkha District. All the local level stakeholders (ward chair person, secretary of ward, representative from health post, school head teacher, representative of woman groups member, village social mobilize, ward member) were participated in the workshop
