Mission:

Creating a peaceful society where people enjoy their rights to justice, health, and participation in decision making processes.

Goal:

  • Contribute to uphold human rights of women, children, and conflict affected, mentally ill, torture survivors and other disadvantaged communities through promotion of access to justice, mental health and community peace

Objectives:

  • To promote and protect human rights of survivors of GBV, torture and prisoners/detainees and other serious human rights violations in line with international and national human rights instruments through policy advocacy, empowerment and access to justice.
  • To promote development of mental health institutional mechanisms through advocacy, capacity building, and empowerment and service provisions for poor and vulnerable groups
  • To promote sustainable peace-building and social harmony through inclusive participation in local governance, empowerment and access to justice of conflict affected groups and local CSOs
  • To enhance CVICT’s and its partners technical and organizational capacities, organizational learning process and branding
